Alexis Duwe is an adjunct instructor in the University at Buffalo’s School of Architecture and Urban Planning, in the school’s Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Design program. She has a master’s in urban planning from the University at Buffalo and a bachelor’s in urban and regional planning from Buffalo State College. Her research interest focuses on fair housing, neighborhood conditions, and policies that empower people and communities. Her past work includes the 2020 Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice in Erie County and coalition-building through the Mobile Safety-Net Team, an initiative of the Oishei Foundation.
