Amy Nagy

Amy Nagy.

Amy is the founder and principal of WindsorTurner, a boutique real estate management, development, and consulting firm. She works in Western New York and beyond, looking for ways to combine her interest in the space where real estate and community development meet. She sees real estate development as an economic development tool and takes pride in advocating for the interests of both.

Her origins are rooted in real estate and construction, and she grew up with an understanding of the work ethic demanded by business. Early development projects include reuse as self-storage and industrial in the Pacific Northwest.

As a seasoned professional with years spent in development, operations, and brokerage, Amy has worked on Western New York urban redevelopment projects including Elmwood Crossing, Heritage Point, MidCity Apartments and Erie Downtown Development Corporation redevelopment. She has the proven capability to navigate complex transactions, rigorous entitlement, and municipal approvals, and excels in front-facing community relations work.

When it comes to the economic development landscape, Amy’s desire is actionable projects that deliver results for which all stakeholders can benefit. As a project advisor, she works closely with community-based developers on reuse and repositioning projects that are highly constrained.

Amy is a leader locally as the former chapter president for NAIOP Upstate New York, and a founding member of ULI Western New York’s Women’s Leadership Initiative. She holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from San Diego State University and obtained her master’s degree in economics from University at Buffalo.

In addition to her work serving clients, she is also a member of the adjunct faculty at University at Buffalo, teaching in its Commercial Real Estate Development program.

During her spare time, Amy is at home in Buffalo, NY where she serves on the Board of Directors of Kevin Guest House and the Maria M Love Convalescent Fund. She embraces travel, walking her two dogs, Lola and Larry and keeping an eye out for her next great project
