MSRED - The Program

The MSRED at UB is a three-semester, 48 credit hour program for full-time students.  Flexible part-time study is also available.  Courses combine “learning” with “doing,” focus on real world challenges and opportunities, and take place in state-of-the-art facilities. 

Semester 1: Fall                                                                

  • END 500: Processes of Real Estate Development (3 credits)
  • END 525: Financing Development Projects 1 (3 credits)
  • END 525:  Lab (1 credit)

NOTE:  You must register in both sections to receive full credit

  • END 543: Construction Management (3 credits)
  • Elective (3 credits)
  • Elective (3 credits)

Semester Total: 16 credits

Semester 2: Spring

  • END 526: Financing Development Projects 2 (3 credits)
  • END 536: Market Analysis (3 credits)
  • END 521: Technology Colloquium (1 credit)
  • END 504: Structuring Deals and Transactions (3 credits)
  • END 515: Design for Development (3 credits)
  • Elective (3 credits)

Semester Total: 16 credits

Semester 3: Fall

  • END 593 (7 credits)

  • URP 691:  Colloquium (1 credit)
  • END 546: City and Environment in Real Estate Development (3 credits)
  • ARC 544: Building Technology (3 credits)
