Real Estate and Urban Development Minor

The minor in real estate and urban development provides students an introduction to real estate as an academic area of inquiry, and a possible pathway to SUNY's only Master of Science in Real Estate Development program, offered through UB's Department of Urban and Regional Planning.

This program, requiring 18 credits, offers a curriculum focused on sustainability, housing and community development, site planning, land use, local government policy and legal issues related to planning and development. Students will gain skills in persuasive communication, analytical problem solving, and a multidisciplinary understanding of real estate concepts.
