Dawn Aprile has branched out her real estate development venture into the world of "glamping."

Dawn Aprile has 25 years of experience in the field of real estate development. A graduate of MS in Real Estate Development program at UB's School of Architecture and Planning, she is the founder and president of Dawn Aprile & Company in Rochester, N.Y.

Her latest venture, Glamping Experience, LLC is her innovative foray into the realm of luxury outdoor hospitality. Glamping is a style of accommodation that combines the intimacy of camping in nature with the comforts of indoor living. Operating in New York State under the name Luxe & Stars, her company recently received a $385,000 grant from Empire State Development Market New York to develop a Watkins Glenn property for glamping.

Aprile is also an adjunct professor at St. John Fisher College and a graduate of TEN Women Business Accelerator – the first all-women entrepreneur boot camp in Monre County.
