The Food Systems Planning and Healthy Community Lab is dedicated to studying the role of planning and policy in facilitating sustainable food systems and healthy communities. This fund supports Professor Samina Raja's research in this area, in partnership with the Department of Urban and Regional Planning.

The Rudy Bruner Center for Urban Excellence (RBC) is a research and educational center at UB’s School of Architecture and Planning focused on innovative thinking and conversation about the role of design in the complex process of city making. This fund will help RBC serve as a living resource and tool for research, scholarship, and practice related to urban development.
