Kellena Kane is the Founder and Owner of Ascension Real Estate. Prior to forming her own consulting company, she was Director of Development for Uniland Development Company, a leading builder, developer and manager of commercial real estate in Western New York.
She is Co-founder and President of HANSA, an innovative shared office and coworking workspace in downtown Buffalo. Kane assists clients pursuing new development opportunities and coordinates subsequent development phases, including preliminary due diligence, concept, feasibility, pre-development, design, construction and financing.
Kane has taught as an adjunct instructor in the UB Real Estate Development Program and continues to be a guest speaker. She is a founding member and Executive Co-chair of Urban Land Institute's Young Leaders Group of Western New York, and sits on the Board of Directors for the Chippewa Alliance and the Board of Trustees of the Community Music School.
She participated as a member of One Region Forward’s Land Use and Development Working Team. Kane holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Rochester. She also earned a Master of Science in Real Estate Development from Columbia University.
