Mr. LiPuma is an adjunct instructor and Senior Fellow in the UB Real Estate Development Program. He is the former Managing Director of CBRE-Buffalo, a full service commercial real estate service provider. CBRE is the world’s largest provider of commercial real estate services. Prior to the association with CBRE-Buffalo, LiPuma was a principal with Comvest Consulting, Inc., a Western New York commercial real estate firm established in 1981.
Mr. LiPuma is a past president of the New York State Realtors’ Commercial Investment Division, a past president of the New York State CCIM Chapter and the founding president of the New York State Commercial Association of Realtors [NYSCAR].
He has been involved in numerous commercial real estate projects and transactions throughout Western New York and nationally. He has been recognized by the WNY Chapter of NYSCAR in 2006 for the largest lease transaction of the year, 2007 for the largest lease transaction of the year, in 2010 for the largest sale of the year and in 2013 as the runner up for the largest lease transaction of the year.
Mr. LiPuma earned his BA in Philosophy at SUNY at Buffalo and his MBA at Canisius College. In 1990 He received the internationally recognized Certified Commercial Investment Member [CCIM] designation and in 2000 the international Specialist, Industrial and Office Real Estate [SIOR] designation.
