Stefan Richter (BPS '02) is a Senior Architect & Designer with Gensler's Phoenix office. He also hold the title of Practice Area Leader for Lifestyle - Multi-family, Hospitality, Mixed-Use, High-rise. Throughout his career, Stefan has served in a variety of roles, ranging from design lead, design build, supervision, and a mentor to students and young designers. He has a deep interest in programming dense urban environments and a particular penchant for lifestyle-oriented projects. During his career working in several countries including Saudi Arabia, Canada, Turkey, and the United States, he has developed a talent for crafting stories, conceiving compelling environments, and brings extensive knowledge of modern construction materials and techniques to each of his projects. Currently he co-leads the urban residential, hospitality, and tall buildings practice areas and the internship and co-op program for the office. With his varied design, digital, presentation, management, and analytical skills, Stefan is able to lead all design phases and specializes in large-scale and complex projects.
