Faculty and students are invited to mingle, network, and converse with local architecture, engineering, and fabrication firms, construction companies, A&E support service providers, architecture students, and professional organizations. Topics of discussion include ongoing work and projects as well as opportunities for employment and partnerships.

During the lecture portion of the event, participants will attend a panel discussion led by Michael Tunkey of CannonDesign with Denise Juron-Borgese of Ciminelli Real Estate Corporation and Stuart Green of Braymiller Market on the new 201 Ellicott mixed-use development project. Participants will learn about the design process of working within the Buffalo Green Code and navigating multiple community stakeholders to create affordable housing and a fresh food market in Buffalo’s Central Business District. Participants will also learn about the project’s guiding concepts: affordability, mobility, health & wellness, and vibrancy.

The annual Table Talks event fosters relationships within the A&E community among students, architects, developers, consultants, and industry leaders working locally in the profession. Sponsored by the Senenmut Alumni Association and UB's School of Architecture and Planning, the networking event seeks to raise awareness of opportunities in Western New York and build up our city and our workforce.
