Accessibility
The School of Architecture and Planning strives to create an inclusive environment for anyone who wishes to participate in our programs and events. Our facilities on UB’s South Campus are ADA accessible and accommodate the use of most mobility devices. Upon request, we are able to provide communication accommodations like ASL interpreters or assisted listening devices for our public lectures and events. For these requests or other specific accommodations, please contact us two weeks prior to the program or event.
Gender-neutral restrooms
UB community members are entitled to use restroom facilities that are consistent with their gender identity and expression. We know that for many this means having access to a single-user, or gender-neutral facility. The School of Architecture and Planning provides a single-user restroom facility on the 4th floor of Hayes Hall.
Parking and Drop-Off
When you arrive on campus, free, accessible parking spaces are available in the Service and Delivery Parking Lot between Hayes Hall and Crosby Hall. You may access this lot via Hayes Road in front of Hayes and Crosby Halls. Accessible entries to Hayes Hall and Crosby Hall are connected to this lot. Drop off and accessible entry are available to both buildings and additional parking is located in the Townsend Parking Lot.
