In this free public lecture, john powell will discuss his work on race, place and space, exploring how issues of racialized space, concentrated poverty, and regional inequity relate to our understanding of the built environment. The lecture will explore how structures and systems interactively link issues across domains to produce exclusion and possibilities for dismantling structural racism, challenging unconscious bias, and supporting inclusive, responsive government.
