Eric L. Recoon
As Benderson’s Executive Director, Eric L. Recoon leads Buffalo’s regional development and leasing group. He has been actively involved in development and leasing of major retail shopping centers within Benderson’s Northeast Region, encompassing all of Upstate New York, as well as parts of New England, Ohio and Pennsylvania. Recently Eric was the project lead on the first private-sector development in Buffalo’s revitalized Canalside District - Benderson’s One Canalside Building.
Proudly born and raised in Buffalo, Eric returned home to attend Law School at the University at Buffalo after receiving degrees from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and the London School of Economics. Upon graduating from law school, Eric was hired as Corporate Counsel before later transitioning to the leasing and development team in 2000.
