Shawntera M. Hardy is a seasoned leader whose 20-year-career is rooted in a bias for equity, a focus on outcomes, and a penchant for design thinking. With extensive experience in public policy, economic and workforce development, healthcare, international relations, and environmental sustainability, she brings to each role a lens of proximity, through which she can see both connections and gaps between power, participation, and profits.
A champion for enterprise effectiveness and inclusive economies, she has led high profile organizations in both the public and private sectors, managed many complex projects and built four companies. Through her consulting firm, Amethyst Advisory Group, she advises leaders in all sectors on some of the most complex issues including public policy and economic development. Given the volatility of today’s political, social, and financial climates, Shawntera’s experience and expertise in crisis navigation have become increasingly more vital. She helps organizations thrive in disruption, reimagine processes, and dismantle outdated ways of thinking.
