Wireless printing from Windows OS

Connect to the School of Architecture and Planning printers and plotters.

When mapping or connecting to our devices from on-campus, you must be connected to Eduroam or UBSecure wireless network.

If off-campus, you must be connected to the internet as well as the Cisco AnyConnect VPN client.

Once connected:

  1. Download the PaperCut installer folder. PaperCut is our print accounting software and is required to print.
  2. Run the file named “client local install.exe” and follow the prompts to install for all users.
  3. Log into PaperCut using your UBITName and password.
  4. Select the Start / Windows button on your Windows taskbar. Type \\arpl-25 and press the enter key.
  5. If prompted to log in, choose the option for “Use different credentials” and log in using ad\UBITName and password. Precede your UBITName with “ad\” otherwise it will not work.
  6. Select the printer you’d like to connect to. Locations and media types for the printers are listed in the tables below.

After sending to the printer you will need to review and authorize the job in the PaperCut window that appears. Review the job detail and cost, then click the print button to finalize the job. If you do not confirm the job, the print will not be sent to the printer.

If printing Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign files directly from Creative Cloud apps, please use the PS versions of the printers for the best experience.
