Join us for a panel conversation with women faculty of the School of Architecture and Planning on how questions of womxn’s equity - or gender equity - show up (or, not) in research, practice, and engagement in planning and design professions. Together we seek to identify future feminist directions for the planning and design disciplines.

Our panelists will discuss how questions of equity inform their research and creative practice, key challenges in the design and planning professions around gender equity, and opportunities for the professions to advance gender equity more broadly in society. A Q&A with the audience will follow panel presentations and discussion.

The conversation will be co-faciliated by Samina Raja, associate dean for research and inclusive excellence and professor of urban planning; and Micaela Lipman, a doctoral student in urban planning.
