Research and Creative Practice Support

The School of Architecture and Planning will support faculty with planning, preparing, and submitting proposals for grants. We currently offer the following types of assistance:

1. Meet with faculty to discuss proposal ideas;
2. Suggest an appropriate schedule to complete each proposal task;
3. Assist in developing project budgets and other supporting documents;
4. Provide (or secure) editorial assistance for proposals to external funders;
5. Aid with submission of forms in the UB Click portal including proposals, budgets, financial disclosures, and Institutional Review Board (IRB) proposals;
6. Coordinate training workshops that help facilitate grant writing, pre-award budget preparation, proposal submission, and post-award spending; and
7. Perform searches for potential funding sources.
