Joseph Lofton (MArch ’03)

Joseph Lofton is a designer and architect with extensive experience. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in English from the University at Buffalo in 1999 and went on to complete his Master's in Architecture from the University at Buffalo in 2003. Joseph is a member of the American Institute of Architects and holds licenses in New York, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. He is also certified as a Green Globes Professional, reflecting his commitment to sustainable design practices.

Joseph advocates that good design should be accessible to all and strives to deliver exceptional outcomes for each client. He values the honest use of materials and emphasizes intelligent, thoughtful design and the beauty of craftsmanship. Passionate about community engagement and education, Joseph contributes to his community through initiatives such as the ACE mentoring program and as a guest critic at Catholic University.

In 2019, Joseph was selected to participate in the Presidents Management Council Interagency Rotation Program, designed to enhance cross-agency exposure for high-potential GS 13-15s.
