Materials Store

In addition to conventional material, the shop can supply unusual items like un-milled logs.

Located directly within the Fabrication Workshop, the Materials Store is an easily accessible place for students to purchase supplies on campus.

Stocked with a variety of timber boards, plexi and chipboard for lasercutting, and small balsa and basswood for modeling, we make sure students have the items they need to bring their ideas to life.

Students purchase materials with CampusCash using their UB ID card, making all transactions easy and tax-free.

Through our relationships with local suppliers the Materials Store is able source high-quality material and pass the savings of bulk pricing directly to students. For large full-studio projects we can purchase all necessary material, making it available to students for a single, low fee.

Off-Campus Material Resources

Students are not required to purchase supplies from the shop store, and are more than welcome to purchase material from external suppliers.
