In-person campus tours are being held each Tuesdays at 10:00 AM EST and Fridays at 11:00 am and 1 pm EST.

Virtual campus tours are being held each Wednesday and Friday from 2:00 pm EST.

The School of Architecture and Planning’s Graduate Recruitment team now offers an International Student Webinar for interested students each Friday, 10:30 a.m. EST via Zoom.  This virtual event offers students the opportunity to learn more about the University at Buffalo, the Buffalo-Niagara region, our global community experience, the admissions process for international students, a chance to interact with current UB students, and much more. Aarzoo Sood: Meet our Ambassador

Aarzoo Sood.

Hello, my name is Aarzoo Sood. I am currently enrolled in the 2-Year Master of Architecture (MArch) Synthesis and Integrated Studio Track at UB School of Architecture and Planning. I completed a Bachelor’s in Architecture back in India at Chitkara University and did a semester exchange program in the 8th semester of my Bachelor's in Seoul, Korea. My dream to study abroad brought her to UB.  “The curriculum at UB School of Architecture and Planning has not only helped me grow academically but also helped me achieve my personal goals in life. Apart from architecture, I like cooking and dancing. I sometimes attend dancing classes at UB as well. I balance my academic life by engaging in various activities on campus like cultural events, badminton, dancing, and sometimes Zumba.”

Sakshi Surawar: Meet our Ambassador

Sakshi Surawar.

Hello, my name is Sakshi Surawar from Maharashtra India. I am currently enrolled in the Master of Urban Planning program. I completed a Bachelors in Architecture from the Institute of Design Education & Architectural Studies. My passion for urban planning is focused on representing the art of human association with the built environment. Creating a sustainable, functional, and liveable communities are at the heart of my passion for planning. My goal is participate in action plans that directly affect the social, economic aspects of day to day lives of cities, towns, and regions. I am passionate designing spaces that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also efficient, inclusive, and responsive to the needs of diverse populations. My focus is on facing the pressing challenges of our time, such as urban sprawl, transportation, housing affordability, environmental sustainability, and social equity.

Apart from my academic pursuits, I have a keen interest in sketching, writing, swimming, traveling, and occasionally engaging in exercise.
