Give: Student Experiences and Success

UB Fund for the School of Architecture and Planning

From our founding in 1967, the School of Architecture and Planning has built upon its proud legacy of forward-thinking educational programs and world-class research. A community of makers, we translate knowledge into practice. This fund supports initiatives designed to help our students succeed.

Typical Uses: Scholarships, awards, funding for student-based organized activities

Department of Architecture Fund

Department of Urban and Regional Planning Fund

Typical Uses: Scholarships/awards, faculty/staff & student travel, course enhancements

Real Estate Development Support Fund

It’s an exciting time to be in real estate development, the industry that shapes the environments in which we live, work, and play. This fund supports our Real Estate Development program, giving students comprehensive, hands-on skills in diverse areas.

Typical Uses: Scholarships/awards, faculty/staff & student travel, course enhancements

School of Architecture & Planning Big Projects Studio

This fund supports the educational programming of the Big Projects Studio course. In this studio, students and a select group of leading firms work together to deepen their collective understanding of the social, economic, aesthetic, environmental, and other impacts of big projects (such as transit hubs, sporting arenas, healthcare districts, and more). The studio leverages collaborative relationships to create new knowledge, aiming to uncover wisdom from already-completed projects (rather than on competition-phase, design-phase, bid-phase, or active construction projects).

Typical Uses: Student travel stipends to visit firms across NYS, materials & supplies for studio projects
