Bachelor of Science in Architecture

The undergraduate pre-professional Bachelor of Science in Architecture (BS Arch) introduces concepts and skills upon which graduate accredited professional Master of Architecture (MArch) studies are based. 

BS Arch students are educated in design, construction technologies, digital arts, the humanities, social sciences, and aesthetic expression. Goals of the BS Arch include introducing architecture as a profession and a way of understanding our natural and built environments.

Duration of study

  • 4 year (122 credit hours)
  • Transfer students may have a different set of degree requirements. Contact School of Architecture and Planning Undergraduate Academ­ic Services for advisement.
  • Part-Time (up to 11 credit hours/semester)

Admissions requirements

  • Application fee: $50
  • SAT / ACT Optional
